I thought this was a problem at Arsenal when they were on top of their game in the last decade but it's trend I've seen in most top teams. Look at the best countries in the world all their top clubs have a base of players from their country. And that's why they're a success if the Chelsea's, Liverpools and the City's keep benching the best English talent how do we expect the national team to get the ball rolling? I've said this and will always say this the FA need to cut down the quantity of foreign managers and players in the league, because if they don't the league will loose its English identity which is slowly happening. It may be the best league in the world and why do you think that's because of???????? I doubt it's because of the English talent there is to offer.

Do Man City Ruin English Talent?
To answer the question in my title of this article then yes, okay even though Joe Hart is untouchable in goal, Milner had a great season last year but was never a automatic place in the team, and Barry and Lescott who did play their parts in 2012 title winning team, but were left to bite the dust. So the Etihad Stadium is the grave yard for English players. New recruits Sterling and Delph are wasting their careers away and probably tarnishing their England careers.
When you think about it, the City team pick it's self, and Sterling and Delph will find it hard to get games, ask Rodwell, Sinclair and Richards they would probably back me up on this. It's sad to see so much great and potential talent go to waste but when you have a great squad like City does. It's hard for anyone to get in to the team. England will always fail as a nation if English players are not getting games and owning a position in the starting 11's of the top teams in the 1st English tier. The FA may have introduced new laws to raise British talent. But teams are just using English players to fill up their squads so they don't get in trouble with UEFA. (Like we don't already know this lol *wink, wink*)
