Man City Keeping It 100

What accolades do I give City, that already haven't been given to them? They've been on another planet since the start of season firing on all cylinders in every competition. I watched them tear Blackburn to pieces live and thought to my self  "Who are going to stop them this season?" Arsenal may be on top but like in the last current seasons I see my beloved Gunners crumbling if they don't strengthen in this window. Man City have a big strong squad as we've seen in the last games where their main striker Ageuro has been injured, but Dzeko and Negredo have filled in his spot and have been scoring goals for fun.

Much of this praise has to be given to Manuel Pellegrini who has got the players playing for the club instead of giving in to their ego's. Which was the main problem when Roberto Mancini was there last season and unlike his fellow rival managers Pellegrini was smart and shrewd in the transfer market this summer by getting his targets early and ready for pre-saeason. Arguably his best buy's have been Negredo who has been a problem to defenses across the country and Fernandinho whose been a colossus in midfield. He's added more quality and flair to the squad this season. Which Mancini failed to do last year after City won the title in 2012, with average panic buys.  As Maicon, Javier Martinez and Sinclair failed to deliver.

City may be great going forward and may be stable in defense AT TIMES, but they can be hurt especially when they have liabilities such as Demichilis. He may have experience in playing for some of the best teams in Europe but he hasn't been the player he used to be for a while now, and with a quality strikers like Suarez, Rooney or even Benteke on his tail he will fold, I watched him against Cardiff on the weekend. His concentration was poor and  was all over the gaff. City are not untouchable as critics think they are. Pellegrini needs to at least bring 1 or 2 center backs as rumors are said that Lescott who came to the Ethiad stadium with a big price fee and has been way to inconsistent to justify the 24 million that was paid for him, is on his way out of the club and Demechilis & Natascic are not stepping up and these players are the weak links in the squad with everyone in the league knowing that if one of these two are playing alongside Komapny that teams can get at City. But I do see City winning the treble this season by claiming the league, Carling Cup and the F.A Cup. I still don't think their ready to be a force in Europe just yet.

Well Played To The Hammer

For some time now I've been thinking to my self when will professional players or ex footballers in England, admit to being gay? It's happened in basketball, rugby and other sports We all think that they are gay footballers in Britain, so why are they coming not coming out and admitting it? We live in the 21st Century where being gay is acceptable whether we agree with it or not, it's not our business, people can live their how they want. For me this lifestyle goes against my faith so I don't agree with it but what ex German international Thomas Hitzleperger did last week, I have to salute him and give my respects. To go public is probably the most brave and horrendous thing to do and for that I have to pay my dues to the ex Aston Villa and Everton midfielder. Who is known to us (the footballing community and English fans) as the "The Hammer" for his thunderous strikes.

Thomas Hitzleberger is the first player since Justin Fashanu in 1990 to come out and admit to being gay. To be fair Hitlzeperger is lucky to have done in this modern area where homosexuality is accepted in society but that wasn't the case for ex Norwitch and Nottingham Forrest striker Justin Fashanu who was mobbed by fans, and even his manager at Nottingham Forrest, legend Brian Clough. I read Clough's biography and felt sick as he admitted to mickey taking and not taking Justin's issue serious, which haunted Justin's life and resulted him to loosing his life by committing suicide. I pray Hitlzeperger doesn't take the same route as the footballing family have accepted it and are chosen to support him. Which I'm happy about because homophobia, being prejudice and mickey taking because of someones sexuality is wrong whether its on the football field or in the world.

Whether I or anyone agrees with homosexuality is not the issue, as its our life and we live it how we want to. But what Fashanu and Hitzleperger have done is heroic and given gay people hope and inspiration that you should be free in who you are and to be true to yourself and come as you are. In my opinion this won't be an issue in the footballing world some ignorant fans may have banter at the Germans expense who represented Germany 52 times. But football is about having the talent and determination to succeed on the field, it's not about colour, race, sexuality or your upbringing. Football is the greatest sport in the world because it bring people together no matter who they are, lets not destroy that image of the beautiful game because of someones lifestyle by being ignorant. I just hope it doesn't take another 24 year for someone to come out again.

Just A Mata Of Time Before Mourinho Destroy's Another Career

How many more careers will Mourinho drag through the mud? Robben, Balotelli and Casillas are prime examples and his new target on his personal list the diminutive Juan Mata. What manger drops thier best player who's performed out of the skin for the last two seasons and has won the clubs player of the season back to back? Mourinho, one of the best tacticians to grace European football for the last 10 years has surely lost the plot.

Mourinho has surely been high on some strong ganja that was probably supplied by Winston from Wood Green. He rather play players like Shurrle and Willian as good as they are, their only half the player Mata is. I just don't get it everyone knows that the front midfield 3 of Hazard and Oscar on the wings and Mata as the number 10 was a crazy formation as they ripped the league to shreds, last season those 3 on any team is a dangerous prospect. SO WHY IS MOURINHO NOT PLAYING THEM 3 I WILL NEVER KNOW??  (I'm ripping the only hairs I have on my head as I write this)

Oscar maybe emerging as one of the best midfielders in Europe and the league, but so has Mata since he came to club and when he was at Valencia, Mourinho needs to get of his high horse and to stop being stubborn like a Nigerian Uncle that goes Christmas shopping, buying the cheapest presents he sets his eyes on and play Mata, this is a World Cup year Mata cannot afford to be sitting on the bench, this is one of the most important seasons of his life, he's too good to be sitting on the bench, but then again this is the Special One were talking about he rather let a class player rot in the reserves then leave the club. I hope Mata leaves Stamford Bridge to play for a team that will appreciate him and utilize his talents as I believe when playing and on form he can be one of the best attacking midfielders in the world.
