Arsenal & Arsene Only Have Them Selves To Blame

We're not even in the climax of the season, and you could say the curtains have dawned down on the Gunners season, loosing to the best team on the planet in cliche manner by starting well and not taking the game by its horns and being destroyed by a understrength Man United side, even though they had the likes of man of the hour Marcus Rashford. Another season in despair and the board really need to do something, the manager is delusional as Stacey Dash the players have no passion and no leader figure there more concerned on what filter to use on their Instagram posts then winning trophies. Well this is what they need to do bring David Dein back, Dein helped bring players turned Arsenal into world beaters, since he's gone Wenger has become yesterdays man, and if I was on the board I would be questioning Wenger or giving him the boot and releasing most of the players. The whole club needs a revamp because if it's not changed we will become like Liverpool or even worse Leeds just another sleeping giant of football with so much potential.

Was The Cruyff Penalty Disrespectful?

A lot was made up from football's biggest names last night whether the "Cruyff Penalty" was claimed as a disrespect to Celta Vigo last night. Where the rampant Barca destroyed them at the Nou Camp. Please please to those who said it was, give it a rest!!! This is beautiful football and a big gesture from Messi to let Suarez score his hat-trick.  It even states that the ball doesn't have to be directly kicked. We don't see good gestures like this in modern day era. Messi should be applauded for doing that for Suarez not being made public enemy number 1!

This is what Ian Hollyway had to say about the incident ""If I was the opposition manager I would be fuming, if I was the manager of the player who scored I would be saying if you want him to score a hat-trick then he can take the penalty. The goalkeeper feels humiliated, there is no need to do that; a classy club and classy team don't need to do that." But goalkeepers, defenders are humiliated every week what's the difference between the Cruyff penalty and lets say the rainbow flick? This is the part and parcel of football a beautiful play will always embarrass someone it's just how it is, that's what makes it more entertaining. If it's that so degrading we should ban it and football will be played like it was in the 19th century just stopping and starting and route 1 play how boring would that be?

Chelsea Have No Respect

There's something about the way Chelsea is run that I've never liked, from the way they booted out Lampard, to the way they treated many of the star managers and players who have been at the Stamford Bridge helm. But nothing upsets me more than this John Terry saga. How can you not offer Mr Fantastic a deal? He's what Chelsea is all about and represented the club since he was 17!!!!!! He's won trophies, accolades as he was all ever present in last season's title win. he's been the back bone of what Chelsea are today and the success story that they've been in past 12 years, I think it's a disgrace how a club can treat their star man like this.

Okay John  Terry has had his problems,  is known for being arrogant self centred and not done himself any favours off the pitch in recent years. But it's what you do on the pitch week in, week out what matters, if we are going to judge players on what they do outside of football most would be judged harshly. I've been following football for nearly 14 years, I play as a centre back like JT does, I've watched the greats like Ferdinand, Campbell, Maldini and Cannavaro play and they inspired me to love the art of defending. But Terry's stats and CV speaks for itself and he's always been a defender I've many admired, Chelsea need his guile and experience if they are to be the top team they aspire to be. If I was on that Chelsea board I would be doing everything I can to make sure he retires at the club.

It saddens my heart that in modern day football clubs cannot honour or at least honour their star/one man club players we hardly see it in this era where players are giving their all to be a one team player. Okay Chelsea have the resources to replace him that's not the point, it's about showing gratitude and giving players the send off they deserve. Not treating them like a stripper once you've done with their services.
