With all great footballers past and present controversy and bad characteristics doesn't seem to be too far from them. Diego Maradonna was drugs and his occasional outbursts and insults on fellow footballers and organizations alike, Paul Gasgoine's was his terminal marriage to his ex wife and his off he field antics. We all remember the infamous "dentist chair" don't we? But with Suarez it's biting people this is the 3rd time in 4 years that the super star has done this and even though FIFA have clamped down on him it should've been even more regarding that this is not the first time he's bitten an opposing player.
With all the accolades he's received and the praises football pundits have given him after his excellent season this year. The Uruguayan marksmen has ruined it by biting Italian defender Chiellini and earned himself a 4 month ban from all football activity including a 9 international game ban and will miss the first 10 games of Liverpool domestic campaign including 3 Champions League matches. Suarez still hasn't learned from the race row with Patrice Evra and biting Branislov Ivanovic two seasons ago. FIFA have given a guy who's been involved in more high profile cock ups than Dappy from N-Dubz a slap on the wrist. Suarez will not learn his lesson he will come back from his ban and probably do the same again. He infamously boasted about it on Twtitter showing that the Liverpool man has no regards to his behavior or the people who employ him such as Liverpool FC and his sponsors Adidas who agreed with the ban by FIFA and are most likely to drop The Kop's talisman.
FIFA the head governing football body of world football should atleast given him a year or two as this is his not his first offense as I've stated previously, but probably his 1000 or even 10000000. It's like given an occurring terrorist a 5 year prison sentence and when he get's released he does it again. FIFA need to clamp down on incidents like this and bring people like Suarez who are bring the beautiful game into dispute. Before football turns into wrestling where the sport is no longer remembered or considered but turned into a big soap opera.

Best World Cup Ever
The 2010 World Cup may have brought the talents of Ozil, Khadera and Silva to light, and Spain dominating international football. But it was a drab affair with slow football, too many fouls and teams playing out for a draw. But this year's groups stages have prevailed where the last two World Cups failed. With fast flowing football, a lot of goals and more shocks than a Eastenders storyline.
Spain may be out and there era is well and truly over, but when one nations slips up, one comes up and England & Belgium look like to be forces in European and world football with great talents coming through in both squads. England may be eliminated but at least they can hold their heads up high and look to the future, and say they tried by attacking and taking game by the horns, something we haven't seen from England in past World Cups. Belgium look like a force to be reckon with, their rock steady defence with Vermalen, Komapant Vertonghen compliment by attacking talent such as Mierallas, Lukaku and the amazing Hazard. Belgium are hot favourites to go all the way this summer. It's just a shame England were just in wrong group at the same time.
This World Cup has brought more twist and turns than Ronaldo's tricks and flicks, and there all coming from Group G with the 2-1 win where USA beat Ghana, the 2-2 draw Germany and Ghana and yesterdays breathtaking encounter with Portugal and the USA. With so many goals and top players performing this is only the group stages so imagine when the knock out phase kicks long live the best World Cup of all time.

My World Cup Predictions
Champions Of The Tournament
This summer tournament which will be held in Brazil the spiritual home of football. where the yellow and green merchants of world football will be looking to add on to their 5 World Cups by getting a 6th in their own back yard the Samba Boys will need no more motivation than this. With all eyes on world super star Neymar who has taken the football scene alight since his induction to the game three years ago. Brazil have another world class striker that will give them more incentive to win this tournament. They may lack the star quality of past players such as Pele, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho but with Neymar, Lucas Moura, Ramriez and David Luiz Brazil have players that can take the world in a frenzy and put fears into any opponent. Let's not forget the Spanish who have dominated international football for the last seven years with back to back European Championships and a World Cup in the past years. They are looking to get over the disappointment of loosing the Confederation Cup and making a stamp that they are not giants going into free fall like past great international teams. Argentina will also be favorites to lift the cup in enemy territory as Messi is fit and fresh and raring to show the world that he will not stay in Ronaldo's shadow forever. And lets not forget the form of left winger Di Maria who has taken Madrid to great heights this season with his match winning displays. Don't doubt the Argentinians as they have players that can hurt any team and are looking hungry as ever to take over the world stage.
Donkey's Of The Tournament
There's been so bad nations in these world cups, remember Jamaica in France 98 or Angola in Germany 2006? Ghana with the star players that they such as the imposing Ayew brothers of Marseille, Asamoah Gyan who set the Premiership alight when he was at Sunderland and the experienced Sulley Muntari who on his day controls the midfield like a strict school teacher in a boarding school. Fail to hit if off for their nation as we saw in the African Nations Cup last year even though they did go to semi's. They are in this years tournaments group of death with European heavy weights Germany and Portugal and the unpredictable U.S who have caused so many World Cup shocks in the past 10 years. The Black Stars look like they will be lucky to come away with one point in their group. Sorry to my fellow Ghanaians but whatever witch doctor that has been claiming hes injured Ronaldo start asking if him he can take you to the knock out rounds because the Ghana squad need prayers, wishes even a genie if you could find one. I'm sure I can give you Aladins number.
Dark Horses Of The Tournament
England and Belgium will be the dark horses of these tournaments with a lot of great youth products coming out of their youth systems. A lot of teams will be looking to avoid these two in the knock out rounds of the tournaments because both teams are blessed with youth, pace and blistering players that can turn games on their heads Eden Hazard, Ross Barkley, Raheem Sterling and Roman Lukaku could be setting the world stage with excitement and wow factor. Many clubs could be having these players on their radars as they have had great seasons and maybe having fantastic tournaments.
2010 and 2006 were disappointing tournaments but 2014 could be the best show piece in football history as there's many world stars taking the stage and future world stars looking to take their claims to be the best players in the world. Be prepared for a lot of goals, shocks and entertainment that will unite the world together. The joys of the World Cup you would be a fool to miss it.
