Another Sex Scandal In The Game

English winger Adam Johnson was arrested for allegedly sleeping with a 15 year old girl yesterday. As I read this headline I thought "Great another footballer who can't keep his (you know what) in his pants." But from speaking with my friend he told me maybe the girl is lying, maybe her family want money. I guess we'll never know the true story. Just as the former Middlesbrough and Man City wide man is turning his career around this comes to ruin it. Whether or not he did it seems to be the question. If he did, it'not for me or anyone to judge, but I'm just sick to death of a another sex scandal ruining the beautiful game.

The married Sunderland player who's proven innocent till guilty or as it looks "guilty to proven innocent." If he did it then it's not a great advert for the game or proving the theory that sports personalities are not loyal partners. The 12 England caps man who last season had a blinder for the Black Cats after his career was hanging in the balance after rotting away on the bench at Man City. I love the game but I don't love the way footballers cannot commit to their wives. If Johnson did sleep with girl he has a lot of explaining to do, to
his wife and has to start his career from scratch that's if Sunderland don't terminate his contract. Footballers are the new rock stars, they are the rappers of the sports world. Meaning people idolise them, men want to be them, they're meant to be an example not doing as they please like I said this gives a bad name to footballers and gives young aspiring footballers that they can treat women how they like. As if we need more men sleeping around and womanising.

As this saga unfolds I would like to send out a message, to males who are in the sports and showbiz world. I'm not here to preach, I'm not here to tell you how to live your life. You guys are examples to the next generation, some of you have grown up with your fathers mistreating your mother's. So why carry on the cycle? Stop messing around with women concentrate on your careers, settle down. Because sex scandals are ruining professional sports, ruining entertainment. Sex scandals ruin careers, families even lives I'm sure Ched Evans would agree with me. Adam Johnson is a good English talent who withered away when he moved to City and revived himself last year, let's pray he's not another player or sportsmen who career and life is defined by a pointless and worthless sex scandal.
