My Premiership Predictions

As the 23rd season of the English Premier league started last weekend, I and most of the country can't contain our anxiety and excitement as the biggest real life soap opera has already begun to unfold. I'll be giving my predictions of who'll win the league title, who will be the dark horses and relegation candidates.

Who will be the title contenders?
For me Chelsea will win the league and be the 2nd team after Manchester United to constant win back to back titles, they're squad is as strong as last season, and with resilience in every department of Jose's Mourinho's side from the goal keeper to upfront, even though main's marksmen Costa is always injury plagued, as his replacements are questionable if they can lead the front line, as Falcao who had a poor season with United last season and Frenchman Remy. Chelsea will be a dominant side with main man Hazard, Fabregas and co destroying the league. I wont be surprised if they run away with the league Man United, Man City may have strengthen their attacking options, who'll probably be in the title race, are not as strong and young & fresh as this Chelsea are and that will cost them the title and believe that's where they'll fall short.

Who will be the dark horses of the season?
With the busy transfer window Palace have had with the shred work of Alan Pardew, they'll be a team to fear, with Cabaye they have a top midfielder who will be dominating the centre of the park, great technical ability and set pieces, is a player that will get into any team's line up. Not too mention the loan signing of Chelsea wonder kid Patrick Bamford who is a young player who I rate highly who ripped the Championship up last year. They'll be a force in the league and how can we forget the dangerous width of Zaha and last season’s star man Bolasie. Don't be surprised if we see Pardrew's men in contention for the Europa League next season.

Who will be relegation candidates?
Most of the teams that came up this season plus Leicester, Sunderland and Aston Villa will be my relegation candidates, Aston Villa have lost Benteke and Delph who dragged them to safety in the league and the FA Cup final, I see their departures hitting them hard, Sunderland & Leicester who play good football have lack of quality and depth to stay up in this division, so I wont be surprised if they go down.

This season will be the best yet, I see it very offensive, with a lot of goals, as most teams having a lot of good attacking players in their squads. I see Hazard, Costa and Aguero fighting to be the best player in league. Bamford and Chaimberland fighting to be young player of the season. So expect more twists and turns than a game of Twister, managerial casualties and Mourinho giving the funniest and most controversial interviews week after week.
