Honour The Dead And Bring Back Silverware

Normally my blogs are football based whether I'm writing about a certain team, player, manager or a certain story that happened during the week. But this week I want to do something different and write a pledge to both Arsenal and Liverpool to win the respective League and FA Cup that they are chasing. For the loyal fans who have passed away during the years.
I would also dedicate this blog to my former youth leader Joseph Massally who did many great works in my church will be surely missed. He was a very loyal Gooner who took his Arsenal jersey to his grave. At first I though it was a bit much then I thought what a fan, surely everyone connected to Arsenal should see what a great gesture the late Joseph gave. I believe not only should red half of North London end their 9 years of no silverware but to honor Joseph's death and many loyal Gooners who have left their families and passed away.

Liverpool do not need much motivation towards their title pursuit all they have to think about is Hillsbourgh and they will be stirred up like soldiers going into battle. No one is more fired up then thier catalyst captain marvel Steven Gerrad who lost his 10 year old cousin on that fatal day with 95 other people dying. Just as Arsenal have gone through 9 painful seasons with out a trophy Liverpool havegone through 24 even more painful years of not winning the league, yes during the years they've won cups and the Champions League but any supporter in football and even the Kop fans will tell you that the league is the bread and butter of every season.

So much is at stake for both of the English giants but one moment lets forget about what's at stake for both clubs, the lack of trophies and the pride of the players and let's remember the loyal supporters who have died during the years of these hard and testing times of both clubs. Sometimes or even most of the time in football we forget the fans is what makes the beautiful game what it is today. We forget the time, passion and money they put into their clubs. Come May I want to see Liverpool winning the Premier League and Gerrad honoring his late cousin and those that died in Hillsbourgh those 24 year ago and on May 19 I want to see Arsenal honoring the memory of a great colleague of mine who inspired me to always be great in my Christian walk of faith. You loyal football fans will never be forgotten but will be missed R.I.P (P.S if your souls are watching over I'll know you'll be rejoicing when both teams win the league and the cup, and to the players of Arsenal and Liverpool you know what you need to do!)
